We need a nice classic rock thread.  Maybe Yip (our local music expert) will pop in and make some good suggestions.

Let's start with some Rod Stewart.

Sounds like fun. There are so many directions this can go. Here's my opener - "I got a line on you" by Spirit. The video hasn't aged very well - it is so (inadvertently) comical and filled with cliches but I always dug the song.

Oh my, this could go no forever.   Gonna throw one out.  The artist, I know from past posts, will not be very popular due to his politics, but, this is from 1971 and back then I simply was not paying attention to his politics.   Wink

If we worried too much about the politics of musicians, we wouldn't have anything to listen to.  My favorite from him is Cowgirl in the Sand.

I agree.  His studio long versions take me back to some very plesent memories circa 1970's BC  and 1970's BA.

(first person to correctly identlify my "BC' and "BA"  win two free drinks at your favorite watering hole on me.  Two guesses per person limit!!)

"Southern Rock"   damn, where do the years go.  I attended this - going on 43 years ago.  Holy gray hair Batman!
