I could write a book on my HWY 64 travels each day across the county. From people passing marked police cars to wrecks to todays incident.

While crossing the Haw River bridge I was behind a dump truck, fortunately I was not close by (200+ Yards) when the truck in the fast lane hit the expansion joint his gate opened and asphalt started spilling all over the road. I dove over to the shoulder trying to avoid driving on marbles and destroying my windshield. Fortunately the driver saw what happened and came to a stop but left the road littered with junk.

What other stories do you have for adventures on HWY 64?
