What: Dance to the fabulous sounds of The Ambassadors, a 20-member swing-era band that has been pleasing area crowds since 2003.
When: Saturday, March 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Siler City Country Club.
Tickets: $20 donation per person
Food and drinks are not included with your event donation. You can dine at the Siler City Country club starting at 6 p.m. - a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Chatham Litearcy - reserve directly by calling the club at 919-663-6036 - please mention Literacy Swings.

What: An entertaining, fundraising event with delicious food. The keynote speaker will be bestselling, local author Lee Smith. She will read from and discuss her new memoir "Dimestore."
When: Thursday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Where: Governors Club Clubhouse
Tickets: $100 donation per person; tables seat 8 people
