You are cordially invited to two spring FUNdraising events to benefit Chatham Literacy!!!
Literacy Swings in Siler City

What: Dance to the fabulous sounds of The Ambassadors, a 20-member swing-era band that has been pleasing area crowds since 2003.  
When:  Saturday, March 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Siler City Country Club.  
Tickets: $20 donation per person
Food and drinks are not included with your event donation.  You can dine at the Siler City Country club starting at 6 p.m. - a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Chatham Litearcy - reserve directly by calling the club at 919-663-6036 - please mention Literacy Swings.

Spring for Literacy Luncheon w/Lee Smith

What: An entertaining, fundraising event with delicious food.  The keynote speaker will be bestselling, local author Lee Smith.  She will read from and discuss her new memoir "Dimestore."
When:  Thursday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Where: Governors Club Clubhouse
Tickets: $100 donation per person; tables seat 8 people

Two door prizes will be given away of a round of golf for four with cart at Governors Club
There will be a bus to/from Galloway Ridge.  Contact Paul Stiller, 545-0112, to reserve a seat.
The Spring for Literacy Luncheon is an important annual fundraising and awareness event for Chatham Literacy.
Chatham Literacy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help adults, living or working in Chatham County, N.C., acquire the literacy and educational skills they need to function successfully in society.
