Breaking News ~ Trump takes heat for wanting to outlaw flag burning -- but Clinton wanted the same in 2005

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/11/29/trump-takes-heat-for-wanting-to-outlaw-flag-burning-but-clinton-wanted-same-in-2005.html

Few simple things we can do that are legal and peaceful ~ make a citizens arrest for illegal burning, most counties and cities in the US have a no burn ordinance. Some counties do allow burning with a permit obtained through the forestry dept, but must be brush, leaves, tree branches and "nontoxic". The chemicals a typical flag is treated with to make the material weather retardant are toxic when burned. You will even have the EPA on your side. Illegal burning comes with stiff fines. Just as Freedom of Speech has limits, such as yelling our "fire" in a movie theater or as our 2nd amendment rights do have federal restriction and control, it is the same with Freedom of Speech. If we start requiring fines for illegal burning, at least it will cost them a fine. It also is a public hazard when burning in a crowd, if by chance you have asthma and the burning fumes caused you to experience respiratory problems, sue them. But be willing to deal with the heat if it comes your way.

Justice Scalia seemed to think otherwise...just saying.
Personally I don't advocate doing such. JMO.

Agree, but you have to play the same legal games against them, burning illegally in a city will get them fined.  Freedom of speech does not allow you to break the law Smiley

Carrier says it has deal with Trump to keep jobs in Indiana ~ US workers already winning under President elect Trump  Party

Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, Indiana's governor, planned to travel to the state Thursday to unveil the agreement alongside company officials.

Trump spent much of his campaign pledging to keep companies like Carrier from moving jobs overseas. His focus on manufacturing jobs contributed to his unexpected appeal with working-class voters in states like Michigan, which has long voted for Democrats in presidential elections.

Details of the agreement were not immediately available. A Trump transition source told Fox News that Carrier executives went to Trump Tower Tuesday to hash out the deal.
