Jonus, do you really believe that a corporate office would affirm a rumor that they are considering the closing of a local branch? How many times have employees come to work only to find the place locked up tighter than Dick's hat band.
Prior to the layoff that caught me, I asked my department director about rumors of a layoff. He said, "All you can do is keep on working until we tell you to stop."
Is there REALLY such thing as a reputable source?
