Moncure Has a very Successful OPEN HOUSE

Moncure conducted it's Open House on Thursday night with a great number of parents/guardians/grandparents and students attending.

Mr. Bartholomew ~ Moncure's New Principal had a wonderful presentation on things happening at Moncure and  in the Community. He let parents know that he's here to "Make Good Things Happen". So parents and students are very pumped up about the new year.

We welcomed new staff members to our campus: Ann Marie Recca ~ 6-8th grade Language Arts, Wayne Rossingol ~  6-8th grade Science, Tracy Conrad ~ Computer/Key Boarding, Erica Essex ~ Music.  And as always we were glad to see the old faces back once again.

Robyn's Nest ~ will be providing an After School Program this year at Moncure. So many thanks to Robyn Allgood and her staff for making this happen. (Not to mention for their wonderful summer program they held at Moncure this past summer).

Moncure Students are very excited about the up coming year and everyone in the Moncure community is going to work very hard to "Make Good Things Happen" at Moncure.

Is it true that Moncure has a full-time music teacher now?

That is fantastic.  I wonder what they are doing with the half a position at Horton now.
