Northwood will have OPEN HOUSE on August 21, 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Please plan to come and see the school and give your support to the committees.  Thanks.

and your child's teachers would love to meet you as well.  I heard NHS has 21 new teachers (the math sept has five) let's make them feel welcome and establish contact early for a successful year for all!

Please ask these new teachers if there is anything they need for their classroooms.  Even things to hang on the wall usually come out of the teachers pocket.
Those mobile units are mighty depressing when they are bare bone walls.

Maybe they'd like a plant, or could use something more substantial like supplies.

The "Giving Tree" doesn't stop in grade school.  High schools needs are also great and a lot go unfunded.

Please give.

DKE, you bring up a VERY good point, that many may not realize, that teachers DO spend out of THEIR pockets because of their dedication and lack of sources otherwise.  How many people in other work places do that?

Not at businesses, you just order what you like.

Please go to the Northwood Website and see the teacher wish list and just bring in an item from that list and give to that teacher-even a little bit helps.  I know this economy is horrible for most everyone - paycheck to paycheck like myself, but just purchase something extra won't break the bank and give to the teachers/faculty to use.  And all through the year teachers needs supplies, etc. Just ask them. Thanks.
