one of the rescuers had on his purple sterile gloves, not sure what that was all about.   At least 50-60 rescue /sheriff ect on both bridges

maybe they're dealing with the gypsies that have been camped out on the island?  i know that as of last week there were about 10-15 men and children camped out on the island near the bridge.  the sheriff's dept was waiting to have enough backup to cross over and deal with them.

the weekend of the 7th, several people i know reported meeting "Wolf" near the island;  he said he lived on the island with his son "Bear".  he told several people that if they howled, he would come pick them up and take them to the island.  others witnessed some teenagers doing just that and being transported across the river.  i know someone's canoe was stolen, and livestock and chickens have been disappearing.  someone confirmed their presence with the sheriff's dept, who were waiting for enough manpower, daylight hours, etc to safely cross the river and investigate.
