Does anyone know of any or have any experience with "gold diggers" takeing advantage of elderly parents in Chatham County area. We are experiencing one and need advice or help, any suggestions?  She is from Siler City working or digging in north Chatham.

I guess I'd have to say no because I don't know if you're speaking literally or figuratively. Could you provide a detail or two - you don't have to reveal any personal info just what they're doing that raised your suspicions.

Sorry off topic, but Axio, your new pictorial ID as an angry cracker is a hoot.  I love your sense of humor.

I would suggest contacting the Chatham County Council of Aging, http://www.chathamcouncilonaging.org/Home and the sheriff department.  Having a criminal case may be difficult or impossible but if the department sends an officer to talk to the Gold Digger that might put a stop to what is happening.

Later,

okay, on topic. Call the Sheriff's Office!! That's why they are there. They are good people and are there to help. Always call when in doubt. Don't wait until it's too late. If you can't get any help, ask for the patrol LT. He is a good guy. Hey, it could be their Mom or Grandmom, etc. Why wouldn't they want to help?
