Bella Donna's pizza is the best.  No if, ands or buts.  We just had the Capo, veggie and cheese pizza and they were excellent!  I had to walk away or I would have eaten the whole pizza at one time.

The rest of the menu looks real good too.

My only compliant is that the Nutella Hazelnut spread calzone is no longer on the menu.  THAT was an awesome desert...  Now that I think about it, maybe it is good that the desert is off the menu, that thing had sooooo many calories and I would eat too much of it....

Later,
Dan

I'm looking forward to trying it, but have you had any from Tarantini's? If not, you are missing out.

Their Italian sausage with broccoli rabe (or spinach) and garlic is a tough act to follow!

According to their Facebook page, they are indeed selling the wood-fired pizzas now.

No, But I don't think they are available for takeout.

Yes, we have.  Went last Saturday night, and had 3.  Will be going back tomorrow night.   They are very, very good.   May become a Saturday night "staple".

I had the mod pizza yesterday.   As stated earlier I'm biased toward new york style pizza, but here is what I think.

The good.
It is real good.   It's kind of a think doughy crust...maybe chicago like?   But tasty. The cheesy was gooey...in a good way, tasted real good.

What I don't like.

$11 bucks for a cheese pizza is a little steep for what for me was a personal pizza. But I'll order it again....just not as often as I'd like.
The mod really isn't into takeout.   I like a pizza while watching the hockey game, and while they did allow the pizza I ordered to go into 3 separate takehome containers(we had to box it), I don't think they were down with it.

Every time I stop there for a bagel I'm told something different about the availability of the pizza. The answers I have been given have covered the gamut from "it's always available" to "we only have it on Saturday night" which seemed odd because I was also told they are not even open on Saturday night. I was once told, "of course, it's available for take-out." Then, when I call, I'm given totally different information.

Perhaps when they settle down and decide whether or not they wish to be serious purveyors of pizza, I'll give them a shot.

Meanwhile, I'm a very satisfied bagel customer.
