JV Chargers Baseball Defeats Chapel Hill High 9-0 Tuesday 3.9.10

The Northwood JV Baseball team defeated Chapel Hill High School 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at Chapel Hill High School. Jonathan McKee got the win on the mound as he pitched four shut out innings while only allowing two hits. Russ Smith pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the JV Chargers. At the plate, Ross Cooper led the JV Chargers as he reached base safely in each of his plate appearances as he collected one hit and scored three runs. Jordan Riggsbee added two hits and scored two runs. Ethan Stubbs added a double while Robert Straughn and Jeremiah Jacobs also collected one hit each for the JV Chargers.

The JV Chargers are 1-0 on the young season and play at East Chapel Hill this evening.
