Varsity Baseball Falls to 3A Chapel Hill 9-3 Tuesday 3.9.10

The Varsity Baseball team fell to 3A Chapel Hill Tuesday night 9-3 at Chapel Hill High School. Andrew Webster and Josh Phillips led the Chargers in the loss at the plate. Webster was 3 for 4 with two singles and an RBI double. Phillips reached base safely four times with two singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. Phillips had one RBI on the night. Austin Brice added two singles, a walk, and scored a run while Matt Wade and Chris Runyon added a single a piece for the Chargers. Jacobi Harris reached base safely on a walk and a single and scored two runs for the Chargers now 0-2 on the season. The Chargers host Randleman Friday at 6 weather permitting.
