Varsity Boys' Basketball Season Ends at Regionals with Loss to Kinston 66-43 Friday 3 5 10

The Varsity Boys Basketball season came to an end Friday night with a 66-43 loss to Kinston
in the 2A Eastern Regional Semifinals at Minges Coliseum on the campus of East Carolina University.
The Chargers trailed only by five after one quarter and by eight at the half thanks to six points a piece
in the first half by Seniors Harold Baldwin and Ridge Smith, and six points by A.J. Farmer.
However, it was not enough as the Vikings pulled away in the second half bringing an end to the Chargers very successful season at 20-8.

For the game, Ridge Smith led the Chargers with 12 points and five assists to go along with five rebounds.
A.J. Farmer and Harold Baldwin added 10 points a piece in the loss for the Chargers. Farmer led the Chargers with eight rebounds.
Ridge Smith was named to the 2A All-Eastern Regional team.
