It just a courtesy folks.  His excessive posting is selfish and annoying.  His diatribes clog the pages.  Believe it or not, I do have other things to do and usually give a quick glance through the thread titles.  When I see that ANY one person has posted ad nauseum it aggravates me.  It has aggravated some folks to the point of leaving the boards completely.

Hey it my opinion ya know.  I have asked for the ignore feature before and from what I have red here it is a distinct possibility in the not so far away future.  I bet there might be someone(s) that want to ignore me and my silly posts.  Doesn't hurt my feelings at all. In the meantime I will just ignore by not clicking threads.

Another feature I'd like to see is being able to vote thumbs up or thumbs down on any post.

I did test out a ratings plug-in, but it caused problems with the bbs, so I disabled it. If the programmers do an upgrade/update to the plug-in I might give it another try.

If you sout the posters by name you can easily jump over the posts you do not want to read from a particular person.

I use the Show unread posts since last visit linl all the time. Once you have the posts up, click on the words "Started by", you can sort them there.

so using 'unread posts' cuts the ones you already mentally cut. cool.
