Hello everyone out there on the BBS -
Are you on Facebook?
Do you have a local business?
Is your local business on Facebook?
We are on Facebook and we have a local business: Home Performance NC. We do energy auditing and weatherization. If you are interested in things like saving money and energy efficiency, please be our FAN on FB. Look us up.
And if YOU have a business or organization on FB, list it here. People on the BBS can be FANs of your business/org/whatever.
NOT trying to detract from the Chatham County BBS, which I dearly love and appreciate...merely trying to work the old web 2.0. The more connections, the better!
Look us up. Post your business here.
Thanks so much -

We are also on FB and Twitter.
Under Twitter it is "MobileEspresso"
Under FB it is "Shot of Spro - Mobile Espresso Van"

We keep the "what's happening" of our day-to-day operations updated on both of these sites so check us out.

For those inquiries on the Chatlist regarding our legitimacy in the state, county and federal rules. We are fully legit in all areas. We also have insurance and pay taxes on our business from all levels. We have everything that is required to run our business just like everyone else that is in a "permanent" building in this county. We are NOT a temporary business. We plan to stay! We are Chatham County residents and my husband is a native of Siler City. The advantage of being a traveling business is much more fun because we can go to events that are offered in the county and other surrounding areas to share our product and meet new people. We go to them instead of them coming to us! Our goal wasn't to take business from anyone else, but to offer the folks a choice on who they want to get their product from. The big chain companies do it all the time. I'm sure we will have the same concern if Starbucks arrives as the county grows but competition makes us work harder and keeps our mind exploring new ideas. We thrive on making a consistent and affordable product while maintaining excellent customer service. Not many big chains can say the same. It is all about money with them but we got into it mainly for the passion of the product we sell and the joy it brings to us to be able to offer this to our customers. We also wanted our teenagers to build a strong work ethic, become more responsible and understand the meaning of earning money as they grow into adulthood. If it grows and we end up in a permanent building, we will grow, but for now this is the route we chose. We also wanted to do something unique and separate ourselves from other businesses. I believe we have accomplished that task just in two months. We would love to give an interview to anyone interested in learning how we got started and why we chose this type of business. My husband is the mastermind behind it all. I am just the driving force. We make a great team!

Thank you,
Tina Meeks
