Here's a nice video of the rockslide that happened out near the TN border on I-40.  Hope anyone who's traveling that way knows about it...

that is a good shot. even more amazing is that any event these days not only gets shot on video, it can actually be a pretty good video.

the guy could not have had more than a few seconds warning to stop, whip out his recorder, and set up, and I mean seconds.

That's impressive but it's not the I-40 rock slide.  Look at the double yellow lines down the middle of that two-lane road.  That is not an interstate.

you may be right. that is a white knuckle stretch through on I-40, but I remember it as 4-lane. also, they are letting local traffic through, both ways, on the east bound lanes. that would indicate a 4 lane stretch.
