Have you lost a Lab/Retriever?  One wandered into our house tonight, Tuesday, Nov 10.   I have seen this dog dashing around the neighborhood for the last few days.  He nosed his way in the back door which I had cracked open for the feral cat we have been feeding.

He has been cleaning the floor for us.  And is very friendly.   Petey drops almost as much dog kibble as he eats Wink

He has several tags on his collar so I called the local number on one tag.  Hoping to hear from the owner soon.  The tag also lists an address that is a good 10 miles from here.  Perhaps the owner has moved to north Chatham recently?

If you know someone who has misplaced their dog please have them listen to their voice mail and call me.

Folks - 1.  DON'T let your dogs wander!!!  Angry (Granted he could be an escape artist.)

            2.  Keep your animals tags up to date!  If this address is correct then this dog has really traveled!

He's a big ol boy and no, Shooter will not let me keep him if we don't hear from the owner.   Cry

Becky and Shooter, you are so cute.

And Becky, I'm glad you've met your new neighbors, 2 legged and 4 legged. Hope all dog owners will pay attention to your advice.

Well, if he does, shoo him out the back door and claim he was escaped if someone finds him on the loose in their backyard laugh

I know belle.  It's always been that way for me (and my family.)  Growing up the current dawg would be really old and barking at death's door and a new one would wander into the yard and adopt us.

Son is convinced we have a secret neon sign that only crazy strays can see Wink
