I don't think I fit into the pro-life or pro choice camp. Here are my quick thought's,
1. Abortion should be legal if privately funded
2. Abortions should be illegal after the baby passes into the second term, as determined in ultrasound by size.
3. Unless the mom's health is an issue.
Hijacked thread...returned.
Ok, we agree on 2 and 3.
as for 1? no, we do not agree.
too many women need abortions for what ever private, gut wrenching reason. my friends and family are not poor, but I have known women over the years who really needed an abortion, even if they had prayed for a child for decades. it happens. tubal pregnancy, whatever.
sometimes these women are poor.
it is a private, very personal decision, between a woman and her doctor.
my sister, whose husband is very wealthy, needed an abortion, to save her life. God help her, if there had been a pencil pusher between her, and her life, when hours counted. but never mind she is wealthy.
any woman deserves the same.

Makes sense. That's why we disagree on obama/pelosi care. We'll never change each others mind.

so, what?
poor women just keep getting punished with babies? they get denied the right of choice?
even in the first trimester, which you agreed should be a choice?

Again punished is Obama's word not mine. Belle have you ever seen a ultrasound guided abortion video? 60 minutes had a story on Sunday that showed one.

no, you started the "baby is a punishment" part of this. if you Googled it, and found an out, no dice, it was all you.
Palin's kid was "punished" with a child. own it.

LOL, you are right, I did google it. Before I posted it. (from here
http://blogs.cbn.com/thebrodyfile/archive/2008/03/31/obama-says-he-doesnt-want-his-daughters-punished-with-a.aspx
) I wanted to get the wording right to annoy people on the left like yourself. "punished with a baby." was even quoted out for me.
Mission Accomplished. I didn't need to google that one.
