Fort Hood, Texas (CNN) -- The police officer who ended the Fort Hood massacre by shooting the suspect is known as the enforcer on her street, a "tough woman" who patrolled her neighborhood and once stopped burglars at her house.
"If you come in, I'm going to shoot," Kimberly Munley told the would-be intruders last year.
It was Munley who arrived quickly Thursday at the scene of the worst massacre at an Army base in U.S. history, where 13 people were killed. She confronted the alleged gunman, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, and shot him four times. Munley was wounded in the exchange.
That's just like her, friends and family say.

This "toughwoman" is a North Carolina Native from Carolina Beach, NC...just saw a piece on her on the news...she worked at Wrightsville Beach before going to Ft. Hood and she is 5' 2" tall and has 2 kids and a husband stationed at Ft/ Hood....hats off to her and may she fully recover.

Absolutely awesome - great job and on her toes too.
I pray for the souls lost in the cowards actions.

Psychiatrists, murderers?
Mothers, shooting them.

Pretty predictable if you read about accounts of this dude before he killed.
In the USA though he did not do anything wrong until he pulled the trigger.
A devote muslim indeed - with a drinking problem - that alone speaks volumes.

So a mother injured him (the alleged perp is still alive) she is a cop big deal, no difference if a father was the cop on the trigger.

you are exactly right, no different at all. or a single American, or gay. but why did it happen?
the man was a doctor who listened to soldiers for 15 years.
even Common Dreams, the Quaker site, has no answers.

I don't know that, at all. What is a Palestinian? Did they even exist before Israel? Or is this just an "ethnic identity" that arose when it became convenient? What qualifies as a "homeland?" Is america my homeland?

yes, America is your homeland, the question is, why are our troops in Iraq? why are they in Afghanistan?
read your Bible, if you have one.
the Jordanians were right there when Isaak got there.
he got there from Iraq.
it is all in Genesis.
Jesus.

What are you talking about? The people who occupied that land in the Bible were whiped out. so who are these modern day Palestinians? Show me one modern reference to Palestinian that predates the Modern Israel, you can't. This is about wanting the Jews to get out, period.

um, no. read Jimmy Carter's book, 1995 for the pre-war history.
The Blood of Abraham: Insights into the Middle East (1985, 1993 and 2007) ISBN 1-55728-293-5
so you see, I can, I have read it.
