Loves to Petey and all of his family.  He's such a little sweetheart (like his mama).

Lots of love and prayers for Petey.
He's adorable!
No matter what happens, I'm sure Petey has been given more love than any dog could ever wish for and he has a wonderful life.
Prayers for his mommy and the rest of his family, too.

Petey is the same.  He sleeps, snores, farts and begs for human food.  Yes, I spoiled him ages ago!

He is still doing circles and does this sort of freeze tag pose from time to time.

As long as he is not in pain I am not getting more worried than I am now.

Thanks for all the love and good wishes!!!

Spoiled? Isn't that what you are suppose to do with them? Smiley Keep on keeping on with it Becky!
Best to you and to Petey!

Our eldest walked in circles for nearly two years.  He seemed otherwise content.  When he finally stopped walking at all, this past summer, we finally knew it was time.  I know that you will treasure every moment you have with him.

Are you sure you're not talking about me here?

Here's another pic:

He's asleep on the sofa right now. He sleeps more and more these days.

that is what older dogs do. I had a dog went blind at age 3, never stopped him. he ran into the occasional unexpected road hazard in his yard, but lived to a ripe old age, and labs are sight hounds. if Petey is still alive, he will live a while longer. dogs get over strokes, just kinda like humans do. maybe not 100% but OK.

So Petey is the same.  Makes me happier.  He knows who we are and eats (begs) and drinks.  I am sort of less worried.

THANK YOU ALL for your kind words, calls, e-mails and prayers!
