Most of the people who are endorsing Voller do NOT live in Pittsboro

Did you notice that most of the people who Randolph says endorse him do NOT live in Pittsboro?

http://www.randyvoller.com/Re-elect/Endorsements.html

Also many of them are current or former Coalition members or supporters.

Notice that County Commissioner Mike Cross does NOT endorse Randolph.

Neither does School Board members Gerald Totten and Deb McManus.

The list will be updated through the election. I personally spoke with Commissioner Cross and he has of policy of not endorsing anyone. I have not spoken with Gerald or Deb. (Of course it appears they are not endorsing anyone in the election, either.  Are they endorsing anyone in their district of Siler City?)

Otherwise, thanks for proving our point: collaborative, regional cooperation.

I'm afraid your thought process isn't very logical.  First you imply that the endorsement of people who don't live inside the Pittsboro town limits is not important and then you imply that some others who don't live inside the town limits haven't endorsed him and that is important.  You can't have it both ways.

I'm with Chathambooks on this one (surprise).  I think that what happens inside Pittsboro affects those who have a mailing address of Pittsboro (but not a vote) and believe we have a right to advocate for what we would like in Pittsboro.  That is why I will be helping where I can to get Voller reelected as I believe he will be the better mayor for my town.  Chathambooks should not be hassled for doing the same for her choice.

To me it is simply further evidence of an ongoing crush.  Kiss

So, he's running unopposed?

I agree with you and Heather on this one also, SBB....I may not have a direct vote in Pittsboro but I will be doing everything I can to help get Voller back in office this election. And I agree Heather should not be hassled for doing the same for her choice.

For those of you asking, I am the opponent. I will be getting out more soon, but it is not surprising to see that my name isn't out there in many places yet.

For any of you who are looking for information, feel free to jump on my website: www.billcrawfordformayor.com You are welcome to pose questions to me there, and I will answer all of them.

So the short answer is, the Mayor is most decidedly NOT running unopposed.

Any body out there who would like a Mayor that doesn't spend so much time chasing down allies in Raleigh, and actually looks after Pittsboro first, check me out and see if you think I am reasonable.

Hey Chef-
Are the Martians registering voters, too? Maybe Pittsboro can get a sister city exchange going with Mars.  Grin

All the Martians need to do is find the local ACORN office (being disguised as pimps will make them really hop to)  and/or land in Illinois and voting is no problem. They will also be covered under our new healthcare initiative.

If he rents out one square foot per Martian!

I also think Martians are covered under the ICE RESOLUTION, so they don't have to worry about law enforcement.
