I've also heard rising sun pools is the way to go.  I really want a pool, but it will still be awhile.  If you do go with them ...would you mind letting me know how your experience went?  I'm also really interested in how much they say the cost will be and what it actually is after all is said and done.

Good Luck!

Thanks!

Decided to go with Steve Underwood at Azure Pools in Sanford. Very nice guy. Bought the pool from Rec Warehouse and had Steve do the installation. Still not cheap but less than an in ground. 27 ft pool package (pool, liner, pump, ionizer -so no chlorine, vacuums, ladders, etc) plus grading and installation was just under $6000. Highly recommend it! Gives me great pleasure to float in my pool while watching my horses play in the pastures, pure heaven!

Great choice! If we had to do it all over again, we would have went with them. He has been fantastic with all of our supplies and chemicals. I wanted to stay local and did but then they closed down after 20+ years a year after I bought my pool. The installer they recommended was horrible, Pool Works in Greensboro (Trent Jarrell). I called all of his references and he got good reviews but once the water was put in, the pool started shifting. I called several times and no return calls. Thankfully the pool is still holding up after 4 years but never again will I use someone I don't know or trust references. References could be anyone. You could be calling their family members and friends. I've learned a hard lesson.

Thanks for letting me know...sounds wonderful!!!  The pricing is not that bad...I paid that much to put new hardwood floors in my house (still expensive, but not as much as I thought).  I hope you continue to have a great experience!
